Here's the thing. I don't feel at all guilty when I periodically disappear from people's flists for any given stretch of time without warning. However, I do feel intensely guilty that the only updates on this journal of late have been bratty RL spiels. After all, this is primarily a fic journal. ...also, I would like to belatedly apologize for the huge ass friends cut about a month ago, lol whoops.

I haven't been in the mood to write, but because these stories are just sitting on my hard drive, I figure I could share what I have. Although it goes without saying, these fics are not complete and I'm not sure if they ever will be finished. Anyway.

1. In a mud pit fight, no swords or keyblades allowed, who would win: Squalo or Riku?
This is hard because I keep getting distracted by the mental image, hello there pretties, but I'm leaning slightly towards Riku. He'd probably be the better scrappy fighter of the two (and I can totally see him yanking on Squalo's hair to get the upper hand lol).

2. In the event of a zombie apocalypse, what would be your weapon of choice?
Easy: a maverick nerf gun that doesn't jam~

3. Name one thing that not many people know about you?
I have a scar on the inside of my left cheek from when I was younger. On a wicked stormy night, my dad was fishing off this dock and I went to go watch. He told me to go back inside, and as I was walking away from him, he back-cast. The fishing hook caught the inside of my mouth when he cast forward (worm and all).

4. What do you consider the most important event in your life so far?
The day I bought my puppy when I was seventeen, just a week before Christmas. I had never been so happy as I had been that day, and whenever I go home now and see Kiba waiting for me, I know that same happiness. He's the best thing in my life.

5. Do you believe that life might exist on some other planet in the Milky Way galaxy?
I'm sure it's possible, but I just can't bring myself to believe it. Maybe that's my religion talking though, so who knows XD

I have been seriously considering dropping JD. During the summer I glanced over previous chapters and was honestly disgusted with not only my writing, but also the characterization, especially Link's. I rewrote the first chapter but have since then lost what dwindling interest I had in the verse. There is a pattern with my WIPs, I think: write, rewrite, discontinue. I'll have to keep that in mind for the future. Anyway.

Hey guys! I just got back from my first con, ANIME BOSTON YO. Easily the best weekend of my life, and I can't wait to go back next year. Hopefully I'll have mustered the courage to cosplay by then (I'm thinking Crowned Clown Allen maybe), but we'll see.

So, I took about 200 pictures from Friday to Sunday, and I'm posting maybe 160 of them. The cosplays were FAN-FUCKING-TASTIC and the cosplayers were super sweet. Actually just about everyone at the con was disturbingly nice; there were many random hugs and random glomping and random chatting with strange people ♥
